Memphis Belle Visits Roanoke 8th Air Force

 

Thanks to the Liberty Foundation and Landmark Aviation in Roanoke some of our members were able to have a spectacular visit with the B-17 Memphis Belle on September 1st, 2014. A very special "thank You" goes out to the Liberty Foundation, the Memphis Belle crew, Landmark Aviation, and our own associate members for helping our WW2 crews get out to see the plane and meet with local reporters. It was truly a special day for everyone involved.
